Something that happened to me recently (about VNs)
Hey! I just thought I'd share a short live-story that happened to me recently and wanted to know if that, or something like that, ever happened to you before? If you don't know what a Visual Novel is there is really no point in reading any further, as this was about Visual Novels. So, VN is my favorite video game genre - and I know it's debatable whether or not they can be called "video games" and whether you "play" or "read" them. But I always refer to them as "games" and I always say I "play" a Visual Novel. (I'd never say I "read" a VN, even though that's essentially what you do - most of the time at least.) But I think it was exactly this - this misconception of what a "game" is and what it means to "play" that lead to that situation that I experienced. So, as I said, VNs are my fav video game genre and I love playing VNs. (Yes, video games. Yes, playing.) So I wanted to show one of my friends (who actually loves reading) a Visual Novel. Video game changing language can be weird
I was playing a video game that came out in 2016. The game was only in english, but I didn't mind. Sure, I'm not native in english and if I have the opportunity to play a game in my native language I usually do that, but if that's not possible, it's also no problem for me. 2017 there was an update for the game that could change the game into my native language. But I never updated the game and so I just played it through in english. Recently I picked up the game again and wanted to do some battles in the colloseum and the game told me that I had to update the game in order to do fight in the colloseum, so I did that and then suddenly the game was in my language. It was so weird and I was totally not used to it after playing the whole game in english. It was horrible. All the attack names were different suddenly. I totally couldn't deal with it. Omg. Thankfully I found a way to turn it back to english.

English version: I think everyone who knows me is well aware just how big my dream of going to Japan for one year is and how long I've had that dream. Many friends and acquaintances have already spent a year abroad in Japan and it seemed so easy for them. Just not for me. Just something I had in my mind
I have an idea for a FanFiction. I know I'm not gonna write it, but I just wanted to show you the premise of my story: Yagami Taichi is excited because tomorrow will be his 10th birthday and that means he'll finally get his own Pokémon and go on a Pokémon journey. After he get's his first Pokémon - a Charmander - from Professor Oak, his adventure can finally begin. On the way to the next city he and Charmander witness an aurora and suddenly a strange small device shoots down from the sky. Taichi, wondering what it may be, picks it up and decides to call Prof. Oak when he reaches the next town to ask him about it. As her arrives in the next town he is greeted by a boy named Bill who tells Taichi that he had just developed a system that allowed Trainers to store their Pokémon in a PC and askes Taichi to try it out. Taichi agrees to that and follows Bill who shows him how to store his Charmander in the PC. After having done so suddenly the device in Taichi's pocket, that he had
